What Is My Passion ?

“What is my Passion? “

Have you ever asked this question to yourself? I’m sure you did.

You might got an answer like Writing , Painting , Dancing ,Teaching ,Engineering ,etc ,etc.

Or You got an answer “I don’t know”. And it’s okay ,I don’t know too.

Well , social media is full of such quotes & sayings. We see them all day.

But what is this thing called Passion?

What Is Passion?

As I wrote first answer ,the passion can be Writing , Acting , Painting , Engineering , Business , etc . So if you get an answer something like this , then ask yourself “Am I passionate about the process or the result?”.

Many people are actually passionate about the result. When someone says they want to become an actor ,that person must be passionate about Acting & not the fame & success.

What happens when someone is passionate about the result is that they lose interest in what they called their passion. Because they never enjoyed the process.

Passion is when you love the process not the result.

To achieve anything you must be willing to do all it takes. You can’t achieve anything without putting your best in it.

If you have found your passion, How much time do you work on it daily?

Are you consistent with it?

I’m sure these questions will help you find out if your passion is actually your passion or not.

What If I Don’t Know My Passion?

That’s great! Actually, that’s great.

To be honest ,I don’t know my passion yet. And , it’s okay not to know it. It’s okay to be confused.

Because when you’re confused you can try to number of different things. And eventually you’ll find something that you can call your passion.

When people around us are working hard for their passions or posting about their passion , the people who haven’t discovered their passion might feel demotivated & sad.

But there’s no point in wasting time over thinking what is your passion. Passion doesn’t come naturally. Unless you try to multiple things you can’t know what you love most , right?

Stop thinking & start trying.

How Long It Will Take To Find My Passion?

I don’t know. It depends. Some people find it at their early age while some find after their retirement. I’m sure you all have heard about people who left their well settled jobs & started doing something different than what they were doing for years.

Why this happens? Because they found their passion late. Maybe they never tried doing that in early age or never put much work in it before.

So , you never know how long it will take to find out your passion. You have to keep experimenting with yourself & keep working hard.

Final Words

I hope you find your real passion & not the false one where you’ll lose interest soon. To find that real passion , keep trying out new things. Also , keep doing what you’re doing right now. if you’re studying right now don’t lose focus from it for finding your passion. Because you never know how long it will take to find out your passion , until then aim for the stability.
