The one who writes about “Loving yourself”,

can’t stop hating himself.

The one who writes about “Positive thinking”,

can’t stop negative thoughts.

The one who writes about “discipline”,

snoozes alarm every morning.

The one who writes about “fitness”,

haven’t worked out from a month.

The one who writes about “mindfulness”,

haven’t meditated from a month.

The one who writes about “killing phone addiction”,

Is wasting time on Snapchat filters.

The one who writes “stop being victim”,

can’t stop blaming.

The one who used to write

is searching for motivation ..

But hey, I actually managed to write this. I guess, I’m getting there again.

The one who writes about what they don’t follow themselves is called a Fictional writer. If there is good in it I will take it.

Haha, the one who couldn’t stop commenting, has no words left to say. 😹 I like your poems very much, Sumeet. You’ve very perfectly portrayed how we have both the positives and negatives within us. We visualise the best versions of ourselves, but some days, we just aren’t able to be that person! πŸ˜› And it’s okay! We’ll come around to it soon. A lovely write-up this is.

    • Accidental Blogger

Exactly. We can’t be best version of ourselves everyday. We must go through all those bad days too😊

Hi everyone! Here’s a must read poem which really captures the essence of the phrase “easier said than done”. I believe we live in a generation where everyone has opinions and for some privileged ones, we have the platform to express our opinions, but somewhere sometimes we end up thinking that we are capable enough to give “advice”. Are we really though? Are we following the same advice in our lifestyles before suggesting that others do so?
