I tried..

I tried to make you happy but I failed

I tried to erase your past but I failed

I tried to fight your demons but I failed

I tried to change myself but I failed

I tried to paint you a future but I failed

I tried to stop you going away but I failed

I tried to get you back but I failed

I tried hard yet failed

And I tried to write this down but I failed here too

No matter how hard I tried

It doesn’t really matter in the end…
